Argentina’s President Javier Milei strengthened ties with Israel through a newly announced bilateral partnership on Thursday, emphasizing their shared commitment to freedom, democracy, and opposition to terrorism and dictatorial regimes.
This strategic alliance was revealed on the same day that the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, despite opposition from both Argentina and the United States.

The Argentine leader, known for his strong support of Israel and Judaism, criticized previous administrations for maintaining close relations with Iran, the nation behind the devastating 1994 terrorist attack on Buenos Aires’ AMIA Jewish community center.
In his commitment to Western values, Milei has positioned Argentina as a staunch ally in the fight against terrorism. His recent visit to Israel earlier this year resulted in a social rights agreement and included tours of Jewish holy sites and Kibbutz Nir Oz, a community devastated in the October 7 attack.
“We will never forget the inhuman attacks with [which] terrorism punished the Argentine people 30 years ago. And we also do not forget barbarism committed by the terrorist group Hamas on October 7th,” Milei said on Friday.
President of Argentina Javier Milei: “I express my solidarity with the Jewish people, and condemn H×mas in the strongest terms—they are the N×zis of the 21st century… Know that you have a president in Argentina 🇦🇷 that is a true friend of Israel 🇮🇱”
