Biden’s Close Advisers STILL INSISTENT That His Cognitive Health Is Not Jeopardized
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Sunday “we’re all aware” of where President Joe Biden stands when asked about his decision to drop out of the re-election race.
Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream asked Buttigieg on Sunday if Vice President Kamala Harris was complicit with Biden’s purported decline by not addressing it.
Buttigieg replied, “We’re all aware of how he’s doing. Our country has watched our president lead, and yes, we’ve also seen the fact that he’s 10 years older than he was 10 years ago.”
Buttigieg drew a contrast between Biden with former President Donald Trump, noting that the Republican has also become “older and stranger” but slammed his party for inhabiting an alternative Universe.
“On the contrary, the president confronted that reality in what must have been one of the most difficult decisions for an American president to make ever,” he added.
The 81-year-old Biden received an unprecedented criticism for his debate appearance last month.
At the same time as things were coming to an end, Biden’s own people still reported that his cognitive health was strong.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, said on Friday that Biden’s decision not to run for president in 2024 had “nothing to do with his health.”
In return, a House Republican dropped more articles of impeachment on Harris charging her with misleading the American people about Biden’s physical health and cognitive abilities.
