CAIR Director attacks Jewish people in NYC building

A shocking incident unfolded in Midtown Manhattan when Noora Shalash, CAIR-Kentucky’s Director of Government Affairs, was recorded physically attacking and verbally threatening Jewish individuals inside a building.
The confrontation was documented by Seth Bell and subsequently shared on social media by his friend Ari Greenfield. In sharing the video, Greenfield praised his friend’s composure, stating “This just happened to my buddy in midtown, NYC. Good job, Seth, keep fighting the good fight!”
During the recorded encounter, Shalash was seen unleashing antisemitic vitriol, including statements declaring “Fuck the Jew” and “I demand Jihad. I demand Jihad. I want ISIS to kill all of you. We are the real children of Jacob, not you.”

Following the altercation, law enforcement intervened and placed Shalash under arrest.
Research from the Jew Hate Database reveals that Shalash, who was born in Amman, Jordan, and later raised in Lexington, Kentucky, has maintained ties with CAIR-KY, serving as a board member.
The database provided additional background information: “Meet Noora Shalash: Chased, assaulted, and threatened Jews in a Midtown Manhattan building while calling for their deaths. Origin: From Amman, Jordan; raised in Lexington, Kentucky; graduate of the University of Kentucky. CAIR Involvement: Served on the board of directors for CAIR-KY, attended meetings with Kentucky Senate leaders. Professional History: • Senior Sales Leader at Coach (2017–2019) • Sales Specialist at Victoria’s Secret (2015–2017) • Assistant to CEO/Research at Biomedical Development Corp (2013–2015) Social Media History: Documented antisemitic and hateful remarks, including support for Hamas violence and comments calling Jews ‘perverted’ and blaming Zionists for her struggles.”
Noora Shalash, a violent official for CAIR, the largest Islam and Muslim advocacy nonprofit in the U.S., was caught on video this week in Manhattan shouting, "F— the Jews" and saying, "I demand Jihad! I demand jihad! I want ISIS to kill all of you."

While the incident has sparked outrage, some observers have emphasized the importance of considering mental health factors in the situation.
The Jew Hate Database acknowledged this aspect, stating: “Disclaimer: Witnesses have stated that Noora appeared unstable and may need mental health support. While her expressions of Jew hatred are unacceptable, we ask that comments remain respectful and avoid hateful or derogatory remarks, especially regarding mental health—regardless of her unacceptable social media posts in the included slides. She was arrested at the scene.”
