Donald Trump Refuses To Be CUT OFF In Recent FOX Interview

Thursday night, Fox News cut off a conversation between former President Donald Trump and anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum to begin their late-night “Gutfeld!” Undeterred, Trump actually decided to call Gutfeld on his cell phone live during the broadcast.

It happened as Trump was reacting to comments made by Vice President Kamala Harris during her speech at the Democratic National Convention. As he was expressing himself, however, Baier and MacCallum said they had to move on and cut away for the start of “Gutfeld!”

“That wasn’t my fault, Donald Trump. He’s still talking by the way,” Gutfeld joked at the beginning of his show.

Moments later, Trump called the late-night Fox News host.

“Mr. President, I’m live now, say hello to my audience. So don’t say anything that will get you in trouble!” Gutfeld said to the cheers of the live audience.

“At this point, what difference does it make?” Trump replied. “We’re doing well; we’re leading in the polls.”

Trump also briefly weighed in on the Democratic vice presidential selection of Harris and claimed President Joe Biden has been “pushed out” of the race, which Trump said amounted to a “coup.”

“Alright, Mr. P, I got to go!” Gutfeld said before ending the call and returning to his show.

While Harris was giving her DNC speech, Trump had already been hitting back in real time on Truth Social. Her nearly 40-minute address invoked Trump 16 times, with much of the focus on attacking him.

“Fellow Americans, this election is not only the most important of our lives, it is one of the most important in the life of our nation. In many ways, Donald Trump is an unserious man,” Harris said. “But the consequences — but the consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House are extremely serious.”

Trump responded a short time later on Twitter, saying: “She hasn’t done anything for three and a half years but complain. And I hear she’s talking tonight — about me! She should leave the Speech right now, go to Washington, D.C., and act on the BORDER,” Trump wrote.
