Fake Video Shows Harris Looking Tired, Speaking Oddly

A digitally manipulated video circulating on Facebook falsely depicts Vice President Kamala Harris with exaggerated dark circles under her eyes during a post-election address to supporters.
The altered footage also features deliberately distorted speech, making it appear as though the Vice President is slurring her words. The misleading video’s caption suggests Harris is struggling to cope with electoral defeat.
However, examination of the original video, which was distributed by the Democratic Party on X, reveals no such physical features or speech impairments.

The authentic footage, also available on YouTube, shows Harris speaking clearly without any unusual appearance around her eyes.
Digital forensics conducted through TrueMedia.org’s content detection system confirmed signs of manipulation in the Facebook version. Neither Harris’s campaign team nor the White House has addressed this doctored content through official channels.
Recent polling data from Puck News/Echelon Insights shows Harris garnering 41% voter support for a potential 2028 Democratic presidential run, while California Governor Gavin Newsom received 8% in the same survey, as reported by The Hill.
USA Today has since published a fact-check confirming the video’s fraudulent nature on December 4. Efforts to obtain comment from Harris’s representatives are ongoing.
