Kamala Harris RELEASES Presidential Policies – People Noticed It’s COPIED Straight From Biden

At a campaign event on September 2, 2024, at Northwestern High School in Detroit, Michigan, Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, unveiled her long-awaited policy agenda, flanked by labor union leaders. This release comes nearly two months after she effectively became the Democratic nominee.

However, controversy arose when it was discovered that a significant portion of the source code on Harris’s new policy page appeared to have been copied from President Joe Biden’s previous campaign website.

Corinne Green, a “queer, transfemme activist from New Orleans,” took to social media platform X to point out that the Harris campaign had “copied and pasted the policy page code from Biden’s website and couldn’t be a**ed to change it. ‘join our campaign to re-elect joe biden today!’”

Green further commented in a follow-up post, saying, “very serious people deeply concerned with the situation we’re in and approaching the campaign with the focus and gravity it deserves.”

Although the text did not appear visibly on Harris’s website, it was embedded in the metadata, which is used by search engines. As a result, the phrase “re-elect Joe Biden” was displayed in search results related to Harris’s policy page and appeared when links to the page were shared, as reported by The New Republic.

The outlet also noted that “all of this creates the impression that at least some of the Harris campaign’s policy language was copied and pasted from Biden’s documents.” This development could be particularly embarrassing for the Harris campaign, which emerged partly due to the perception that a new approach was needed to generate enthusiasm within the Democratic Party. The similarity was especially notable in the section addressing Israel-Palestine policy, which closely mirrored Biden’s previous stance.

Following the revelations, the copied content has since been removed from the Harris campaign’s website.

The website mishap comes at a time when Harris is facing dwindling initial momentum. Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire wrote that “the latest New York Times/Siena College poll shows former President Donald Trump with a one-point lead over Harris nationally.”

Shapiro added, “This is a disaster area poll for Kamala Harris. I’ve been saying for a long time that she had hit her high watermark, that there was only receding to the mean from there, that she had had weeks and weeks and weeks of no serious questions asked of her, and eventually the vibes would run out.”

The poll, which focused on likely voters, also showed that Trump held a two-point lead among registered voters and a one-point lead in favorability over Harris. According to the poll, 46% of Americans had a very or somewhat favorable view of Trump, compared to 45% for Harris.

There was also a significant difference in voter awareness; 87% of respondents said they already knew what they needed to know about Trump to make a decision, while only 67% said the same about Harris.

“It turns out the American people really do want Kamala to explicate who she is and what she believes in order for them to make her president of the United States,” Shapiro concluded.
