Leftist Activist Publishes FALSE X Posts About JD Vance

Republican vice presidential nominee and U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) appeared on “The Story with Martha MacCallum” at Fox News Channel Studios on September 11, 2024, in New York City.

Leftist journalist Ken Klippenstein released a comprehensive hacked dossier on Ohio Senator J.D. Vance on Thursday, leading to the suspension of his account on X.

The dossier is believed to have originated from Trump campaign materials that were obtained through hacking by the Iranian regime. Iran has shared these Trump campaign materials with various outlets, journalists, and organizations that had, until Thursday, chosen not to disclose the information.

Elon Musk, the owner of X, took to social media on Thursday to announce that he had banned Klippenstein’s account due to the publication of the Vance dossier.

“This is one of the most egregious, evil doxxing actions we’ve ever seen. Presidential candidates are not speculatively in danger – there have already been two attempts on @realDonaldTrump’s life. Moreover, the doxxing included detailed information on the addresses of their children,” Musk stated.

Klippenstein defended his decision to publish the hacked dossier on his Substack, asserting that it was “offered” to him, while suggesting that the offer did not originate from Iran.

“The dossier has been offered to me and I’ve decided to publish it because it’s of keen public interest in an election season. It’s a 271-page research paper the Trump campaign prepared to vet now vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance. As far as I can tell, it hasn’t been altered, but even if it was, its contents are publicly verifiable. I’ll let it speak for itself,” Klippenstein explained.

In addition to hacking the Trump campaign, the Iranian regime has employed various tactics to disrupt Trump’s presidential campaign, including attempted assassination plots.

Prosecutors have charged a Pakistani man with plotting to assassinate Trump. Asif Merchant was arrested in July for allegedly offering potential assassins up to $1 million to kill the former president. Merchant has pleaded not guilty.

“This dangerous murder-for-hire plot was allegedly orchestrated by a Pakistani national with close ties to Iran and is straight out of the Iranian regime’s playbook,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray in a statement. “A foreign-directed plot to kill a public official, or any U.S. citizen, is a serious threat to our national security and will be met with the full might and resources of the FBI. Protecting Americans from terrorists remains our highest priority.”
