Multiple fights broke out at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Mall in Arlington, Virginia on Saturday evening, leading to an early closure of the shopping facility.
Law enforcement officials responded to the scene after receiving multiple reports of disturbances throughout the mall. The situation became severe enough that officials made the decision to close the shopping center earlier than its regular hours to maintain public safety.
The violent incidents resulted in minor injuries to both a police officer and a mall security guard. Law enforcement apprehended three young individuals in connection with the disturbances, with one requiring medical treatment for minor injuries.

According to ARL Now:
Metro Transit Police, Virginia State Police and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency all sent personnel to the mall to help Arlington County police. Fights were reported on several levels of the mall, including the food court, before the crowds were dispersed.
By 7:30 p.m., the situation had calmed down and medics were treating a police officer, security guard and at least one suspect.
The Arlington County Police Department deployed officers to manage the unfolding situation at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Mall, where multiple violent incidents had occurred. Given the ongoing disturbances, authorities urged the public to stay away from the area.
