Melania Trump will not be joining the traditional first lady tea meeting with Jill Biden at the White House this Wednesday, citing commitments related to her bestselling memoir *Melania*.
According to CNN’s anonymous sources, the former first lady’s schedule is conflicting with promotional activities for her New York Times bestseller, preventing her attendance at the customary gathering.

However, another unnamed source revealed to the New York Post that lingering tensions over the FBI’s 2022 Mar-a-Lago search – during which agents allegedly searched through Melania’s personal belongings – may be the real reason behind her absence.
“She ain’t going,” the source stated. “Jill Biden’s husband authorized the FBI snooping through her underwear drawer. The Bidens are disgusting. Jill Biden isn’t someone Melania needs to meet.”
A Daily Mail source confirmed Melania’s non-attendance, noting that the current and former first ladies have had no communication.
Despite Trump’s team’s efforts to convince Melania of the meeting’s importance, her decision appears firm, though CNN reports it may not be final.

Meanwhile, President Biden has extended an invitation to Donald Trump for an Oval Office meeting, which Trump has accepted. The meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, following Trump’s decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
This presidential meeting aims to facilitate a smooth transition between administrations, though the traditional first ladies’ tea appears unlikely to occur.
