Nancy Pelosi Extends OFFICIAL Endorsement To Kamala Harris After Pushing Biden OUT
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has now officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for President.
“Today, it is with immense pride and limitless optimism for our country’s future that I endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States,” Pelosi said. “My enthusiastic support for Kamala Harris for President is official, personal and political.”
Shortly after announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race, President Joe Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee. Within the first 24 hours of Harris taking the stage, several top Democrats publicly shared their support and she fundraised well over $80 million dollars.
Harris has been endorsed by high profile figures such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
However, Harris has not yet received any public backing from former President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).
Memes published by those intent on voting for Biden in order to oust Trump are predictably misguided, but it’s the statements of a long-time seasoned politician which take aim at Harris that raise an ear-popping eyebrow.
Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Fox News that “a couple” of House Democrats told him that “behind the scenes, Nancy Pelosi says Kamala Harris would do worse than Biden.”
“They may be pushing her out at the very beginning to see if she collapses really soon and then bring another Democrat up,” McCarthy said.
So far, there’s no evidence of Kamala Harris exiting the race.
