President Trump Admires Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – “He’s A Brilliant Guy”
In an interview this week, former President Trump suggested Robert F. Kennedy Jr. could be part of his administration after he wins the 2024 election.
Trump’s remarks came after reports that Kennedy had met with top “intermediaries” for Vice President Kamala Harris regarding quitting the race in exchange for an endorsement and a cabinet job.
Kennedy went on to blast Harris and the Democratic Party in general for turning down her offer.
Trump even discussed his admiration of Kennedy with Stahl during a CNN interview. “He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy. I’ve known him for a very long time. I didn’t know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly I’d be open to it.”
Trump also said he would be excited about a Kennedy endorsement, saying he’s “always liked” him. Pressed, he said that “I probably would” make Kennedy a member of his administration if Kennedy dropped out and endorsed him.
“I like him a lot. I respect him a lot,” Trump said. “I probably would, if something like that would happen. He’s a very different kind of a guy — a very smart guy. And, yeah, I would be honored by that endorsement, certainly.”
