South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham Gives Interview On Recent Hostage Release
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) doubled down on our need to destroy Iran. Graham said during an interview on ABC News’ “This Week” Saturday evening that the only way to force a safe return of hostages – including 23-year-old U.S. citizen and Florida resident Hersh Goldberg-Polin, is by targeting major infrastructure in Islamic Republic of Iran.
Graham choked up responding to the latest news that six hostages taken after a terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7 had been killed, aka murdered. He told them he was “heartbroken,” and “crushed” and “angry.”
He said that Goldberg-Polin’s parents “have done everything in their power to help their son be released from captivity.”
“After 11 months of captivity he was murdered by Hamas,” he said. “Hamas could care less about the hostages or the Palestinians. And if you want the hostages home, which we all do, you have to increase the cost to Iran. Iran is the great Satan here. Hamas is the junior partner. They’re barbaric, religious nazis, Hamas. They could care less about the Palestinian people.”
Graham also went on to call for action by the Biden administration and Israel against Iran, demanding if hostages were released that “oil refineries in Iran” be added to targets.
Host Jonathan Karl noted that the Biden-Harris administration had vowed to have Hamas “pay for these crimes,” and Graham pressed further: “What are they going to pay? I mean, what’s the price?”
“I mean, they destroyed a lot of Gaza. They put their own people in harm’s way. The – Hamas could care less about – about the Palestinian people,” he continued. “Mr. President, Bibi, if you want to really change things when it comes to the hostages, tell the Ayatollah what he values is on the target list. Until that happens, nobody’s coming home.”
