Stacey Abrams Cuts Off CNN Reporter For Promoting FALSE INFORMATION And Lies
Stacey Abrams criticized CNN saying it was promoting “disinformation” about comments she had made after losing her first bid for governor back in 2018.
The argument took place Tuesday night in an interview with CNN host Kaitlan Collins. Collins cited the 2018 election results and how Abrams repeatedly claimed victory in both her race for governor and denied that President Trump really won the presidency.
“I do remember the time you told The New York Times, I won,” Collins noted. “You did describe it as a stolen election. The courts did side with the Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, in some of the challenges as well.”
Abrams responded, “Kaitlan, that’s actually incorrect. And normally, I wouldn’t cut you off. But you’re repeating disinformation.”
Abrams cleared that up by saying she never claimed to be the Governor of Georgia. After she lost, Democrat Abrams kept telling everyone “it was a stolen election” and never conceded.
In 2019, Abrams claimed: “I didn’t lose. I got the votes. But we won’t know exactly how many because of how they cheated.”
She also claimed in 2019 that she knows in her “heart of hearts, we won.”
