A viral video showing a person with colorful hair and rainbow suspenders having an emotional outburst about gender transition surgeries for minors has been debunked as staged content.
The clip, which gained traction on social media platforms, features an individual appearing distressed and vocal about restrictions on gender-affirming procedures for young people. The video was accompanied by a provocative caption suggesting the person was reacting to limitations on medical procedures for minors and making unfounded accusations about the individual.

However, investigation reveals the video is actually a performance by YouTuber Cassidy Campbell, who identifies himself as an actor and comedian in his channel biography. Campbell has a history of creating similar theatrical performances, including previous stunts involving appearances at city council meetings.
The incident adds to a growing list of satirical content being misrepresented as genuine on social media platforms. Recently, fact-checkers also had to address another false claim regarding the supposed cancellation of “The View” by ABC’s CEO, highlighting the ongoing challenge of distinguishing between genuine news and satirical content online.
