During a recent podcast interview with Shawn Ryan, Tebow shattered the common misconception that child sex trafficking primarily occurs in distant countries. These numbers don’t even account for livestreaming abuse, “sextortion,” grooming, or other related crimes that further victimize children across the country.
The Disturbing Reality Behind the Numbers
The statistics Tebow shared during the interview paint an even more disturbing picture of the scope of abuse. Between 55% and 85% of those caught viewing child sexual abuse materials online are also “hands-on” offenders – meaning they physically abuse children themselves. Each offender averages 13 victims throughout their lifetime. Contrary to public perception, the primary perpetrators are often middle-aged Caucasian men with college degrees, and many are the biological fathers of their victims.

Currently, they’re supporting the Renewed Hope Act of 2024, which aims to rescue 50,000 unidentified child victims.
