Trump Calls Out Harris, Says She Skipped The Real Issues!
Former President Donald Trump responded rather heatedly to Vice President Kamala Harris’ speech at the Democratic National Convention, slamming her for what he perceives as her lack of results when she was in office.
Harris spoke in Chicago, where she formally accepted the nomination to her party, with the attacking 40-minute speech on Trump.
However, Trump responded rather quickly on Truth Social as he called out what he described as her lack of action over the past three and a half years.
In a post, the Republican presidential candidate wrote, “She’s done nothing for three and a half years but talk, and that’s what she’s doing tonight, she’s complaining about everything but doing nothing!”

Trump’s irritation was particularly directed at Harris’ comments about the southern border and illegal immigration. During her speech, Harris gloated over what she and President Joe Biden had managed to do in pushing through a strong border bill, which Trump was accused of frustrating in order to score political points. But Trump wasn’t going to take it lying down.
“The Border Bill is one of the worst ever written, would have allowed millions of people into our country, and it’s only a political ploy by her!” he fired back.
“It legalizes illegal immigration, and is a TOTAL DISASTER, WEAK AND INEFFECTIVE! She doesn’t need a bill. As President, Crooked Joe and her could have just said, ‘CLOSE THE BORDER!’ like I did—I didn’t have a bill, I didn’t need a bill,” he added.
Trump went on to emphasize what had been done under his administration – “the Safest Border in Recorded History,” and faulted Harris for not being able to talk about the issues he feels truly affect the nation, like energy independence, inflation, and poverty.
“She didn’t mention China, she didn’t mention fracking, she didn’t mention energy, she didn’t mention, meaningfully, Russia and Ukraine, she didn’t mention the big subjects of the day that are destroying our country. There are 60 million people in poverty in the U.S., under their watch, and she doesn’t even talk about them!” he pointed out.
Harris joined in, firing at Trump over his stance on abortion, specifically that he wants to outlaw it nationally and to limit birth control. Trump responded instantly that it must be left to the states, as Ronald Reagan had called for.
“Everybody, Democrats, Republicans, Liberals, and Conservatives, wanted Roe v. Wade TERMINATED, and brought back to the States. Like Ronald Reagan and myself, most believe in EXCEPTIONS. Now the people are voting, which is the way it was supposed to be. I do not limit access to birth control or I.V.F. – THAT IS A LIE, these are all false stories that she’s making up, that I’ve never even heard of. It’s just words coming out of her mouth,” Trump stated.
