Ana Navarro, co-host of The View, made controversial remarks suggesting former President Donald Trump would implement restrictions on Super Bowl halftime performers following Kendrick Lamar’s performance.
During Monday’s episode of The View, Navarro shared her thoughts on the Super Bowl halftime show, despite admitting she hadn’t watched the game itself.
“You know I don’t do sports, you know I don’t do football, so I wasn’t watching the game. But listen, I think today Donald Trump is going to sign an executive order banning black people from halftime,” Navarro stated.

This is the kind of deranged race-baiting nonsense the left peddles daily. Absolutely disgusting! pic.twitter.com/RsH6UGzEmr

She connected her comments to recent discussions about the NFL’s decision regarding end zone messaging, noting the contrast between that decision and the halftime show’s presentation.
Navarro described the performance, highlighting Samuel L. Jackson’s appearance as Uncle Sam and Lamar’s choreographed routine featuring performers creating an American flag formation. She observed the contrasting reactions on social media, pointing out the enthusiastic response from Black viewers and the anger from those she characterized as racist.
“So if the racists are mad, I am happy as a clam,” she concluded.
The game itself saw the Eagles secure a decisive victory over the Chiefs, ending the latter’s hopes for a third consecutive Super Bowl title. Lamar’s performance of “Not Like Us” received mixed reviews, though speculation about potential controversial references to Drake proved unfounded.

What a disgusting comment and a new low for Ana. @elonmusk should buy ABC so he can cancel The View! pic.twitter.com/WcCMe5D5eF
