Biden Email Shows Family Business Dealings While VP
An email from President Joe Biden’s time as vice president reinforces evidence that members of his family were in business with a Chinese company. The information corresponds with an investigation by the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees regarding the business dealings of the president’s son Hunter and brother James.
According to the document, the Biden family received funds from the CEFC China Energy company, which is linked to the Chinese Communist Party. Despite claims from the president that his family did not receive money from the communist country, the document showed that Hunter Biden received communications during Biden’s time as vice president.
According to the March 2016 email, Hunter Biden wrote to CEFC Executive Director Jianjun Zang, saying that his company anticipated “working together on a number of opportunities in the U.S. and abroad.”
“I believe we have presented a collection of projects that parallel the interests of you and your team and we look forward to discussing them in detail,” wrote the draft message on Hunter Biden’s letterhead.
The message said that Hunter Biden and his associates awaited “your next visit to the United States, please continue to coordinate all matters with my confidant and trusted advisor, James Gilliar.”
A statement by the House Oversight Committee focused on a recent interview with former Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski. The former Hunter Biden contact reportedly “articulated under oath that Joe Biden was “the brand” the Bidens sold to enrich the family. Joe Biden not only knew about his family’s dealings with a CCP-linked energy company, but he also enabled them and participated in them.”

The committee also reported that Bobulinski believes that “Joe Biden committed wrongdoing and continues to lie to the American people about his participation in his family’s influence peddling schemes.”
The Republican investigators said that the testimony was “unshakeable” and that the transcript would soon be released to the public. The committee said that the transcript will show the Biden family’s “shady schemes and Democrats’ efforts to smear him for blowing the whistle.”
