Trump Declared the Winner Of Presidential Debate While President Biden Struggled to Keep Up

Thursday’s presidential debate was not to be missed, between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. There was a lot riding on this debate, for both political parties. However, it seems Trump came out victorious with President Biden facing growing ridicule.

The feeling everyone experienced when watching this was stunned disbelief, just absolute stunned disbelief. I think everybody thought, “Ok, they’ll shoot Biden full of some cocktail, and he’ll probably just make it through. It’ll probably be OK. And then the question will be about whether Trump is too volatile or blew right past the moderators or whatever.”

Trump’s performance was excellent, many have pointed out that he showed restraint and only chimed in where it made sense to do so. But, democrats were mortified with Biden’s performance and haven’t been shy about voicing it all over social media.

Most major Democrats in the media, even public officials themselves, are talking about whether or not they can remove Biden from the ticket, and saying it openly. The Democratic National Convention is less than two months away, and delegates have been pledged leaving candidates little room to exit the race.

On the other hand, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough commented: “Start your tape right now because I’m about to tell you the truth. And eff you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden is the best Biden ever. In fact, I think he’s better than he’s ever been.”

Following suit, Democratic Representative Dan Goldman said: “President Biden has a photographic memory. His understanding and mastery of a complicated geopolitical situation, remarkable.”

However, this doesn’t seem to be the census among democrats. 

Given that there is so little time till Election Day, the conjecture about Biden’s ability to stay on as the Democratic nominee continues.
